You could also have a backup plugin in place. This way, when you have to update your site, or if something goes wrong and you experience downtime, you can revert to a backup and not skip a beat.

Redirection plugins are another excellent tool. When you uncover 404 errors or other issues, you can easily redirect those pages and send visitors to live pages with relevant content.

You get the point. There are tons of ways to keep your site running smoothly with plugins. These are just a few, so dig around and explore to see what works for you.

How to Use WordPress Plugins to Keep Your Site organized.

Another way to use a WordPress plugin is by creating an organizational system for your website. This system could include folders for different sections of your website such as content, images, WooCommerce products, or even different pages in your website such as the home page or contact information pages.

By creating an organized system for your website, you’ll be able to better manage access points and keep track of changes made to your site over time. And when you need to make updates to the site, it’ll be a lot easier to find what you need.

  1. Kristin this is a rich list. I’ve used Yoast and W3 Cache from the above. Both hit the mark quite nicely. Finding the function without sacrificing performance is key. We want improved function without slowing down blog load time. Plug-ins can be heavy. Excellent blog post.

    1. Yoast is my favorite from this list. I’ve found it does everything I need in an SEO plugin. Although, these others are quite solid as well.
